P.T. (Playable Teaser) on PS4 is a first-person survival horror interactive teaser released as a free download on August 12, 2014. Directed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, and developed by Kojima Productions under the alias "7780s Studios," it serves as a proof of concept for the cancelled Silent Hills. The experience places you in a first-person perspective walking through an endlessly looping L-shaped hallway in a dimly lit suburban house, where you must solve increasingly disturbing puzzles while being haunted by a ghost named Lisa. The game features immersive sound design, jump scares, and psychological horror elements that create an atmosphere of dread and paranoia. P.T. was removed from the PlayStation Store on April 29, 2015, following Konami's announcement of Silent Hills' cancellation after Kojima's departure, making it one of the most infamous and sought-after PS4 exclusives that is now essentially lost media and purposely made not backwards compatible with PS5.
